It's Beginning to Look a Lot like Wedding Season

With the holidays now done, and Engagement Season begun, comes the busy time before the official Wedding Season.

The beginning of the year is a busy time for bookings for Spring, Summer and Fall Weddings. This is a hectic time for both Bridal Couples as well as Vendors. Wedding Expo's and Shows are happening, and the Couples Wedding Dates are coming nearer.

I thought I'd highlight a few past Blog Posts that deal with questions regarding Weddings Shows, Booking Processes, and how Ceremony Musicians organize your music.

First are the Wedding Shows. These are Expo's at various locations where Bridal Couples will be able to meet various Wedding Vendors. It's the one stop shop for all things Wedding. The following are Weddings Expo's happening nearby that I will personally be attending:

A Celebration of Love - Bridal Show

Quidnessett Country Club - Sunday, 1/20/19 11am-3pm

The Original Wedding Expo - Bridal Show

Twin Rivers Resort and Casino - Sunday, 4/7/19 11am - 3pm

I've written a previous post on what to expect at a Wedding show, regarding vendors and the whole experience. You can find that post HERE.

The next question I want to address is 'How Far in Advance to Book'. Obviously, earlier is better, in the case that your Vendor may become booked for another Wedding. Most of my wedding bookings occur in the beginning of the year. It's the busiest time, and certainly when couples start really cementing their plans for their Spring/Summer/Fall wedding. This is not to say I haven't already been booked a year in advance for certain dates.

You can find a Blog Post going in depth HERE.

Now for the Music Questions! I offer consultations (either in person or via video chat), to all my Ceremony Bookings to go over music for the Processional and Recessional. I've detailed these Posts HERE and HERE. These selections are the pieces you will walk down the aisle to, as well as the first music that will be played once the ceremony has ended and you're officially married. They are very important pieces, and as such the Consultations are significant to provide each couple with their perfect musical selections as they enter and begin their married life.

The final post I will leave you all with today, is my Day of Wedding Guidelines post. This is just some information to help with answering any questions you may receive from either you wedding musician, or other wedding related vendor. This post can be found HERE.

Happy Wedding Booking Season and as always please let me know should you have questions by contacting me HERE.
